A concept study for a national museum in Nairobi, Kenya.
ROLE Visual Designer
PROJECT LENGTH 2 weeks
TOOLS InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
The museum’s visual identity is guided by the defining attributes inherent to the Kenyan culture. The materials, typefaces, colors, photographic treatments, media, and interactive elements deployed throughout the exhibition aim to harmonize and evoke these elements. The essence of the visual identity can be distilled into the land, people, material culture, and history. They are critical to the narrative and thus will function as the base for the overarching visual approach to exhibition material.
The interpretive graphic panel system for the museum will be both unified in style and convention as well as stylistically unique per gallery.
